Jan Chetna Sansthan as the name implies is an Organization working for
generating awareness among the people, leading to their empowerment. It
was formed in 1988 by a group of social activists and development professionals.
The field area of JCS is the tribals including women who constitute the
most marginalized, disadvantaged and exploited section of the society in
tribal populated villages of Abu Road block in the Sirohi District of Rajasthan.
